Design first.
Built to last.
what we do.
We Love Land is a design studio first and an installation company second. We design and build complete outdoor environments across Florida’s Forgotten Coast — integrating landscape architecture, horticulture and construction into cohesive spaces that are beautiful, functional and built to last.
While installation is a significant part of what we do, the emphasis stays where it belongs: on thoughtful design, craftsmanship, and landscapes that mature beautifully over time.

one studio, concept to completion.
Every project begins with thoughtful planning and a deep understanding of the land, the architecture, and the people who’ll use the space. Because our design-build process lives under one roof, the vision that’s drawn is the vision that gets built — led by licensed landscape architecture and horticultural expertise, and carried through with communication that stays open from concept to completion.
That means site-specific solutions tailored to each property, transparent proposals, proactive project management, and craftsmanship in the details — all in service of a landscape designed to mature and grow more beautiful over time.
our process.
frequently asked questions.
-
We design landscapes ranging from intimate residential gardens to large estates, commercial properties, schools, municipal spaces, parks, and community projects.
-
That's perfectly normal. Most clients come to us with goals rather than finished ideas. Our job is to understand your property, your priorities, and how you want to experience the landscape. From there, we guide the design process and develop a landscape that's both beautiful and uniquely suited to you.
-
Our first conversation and initial site visit are typically complimentary. If your project requires extensive evaluation, planning, or professional consulting beyond that meeting, we'll discuss those services with you before proceeding.
-
A landscape master plan is more than a drawing — it's a roadmap for your property's future. It establishes a cohesive vision, coordinates planting, hardscape, drainage, outdoor living spaces, and other improvements, and helps avoid costly revisions later. Whether your project is built over months or years, a master plan ensures each improvement contributes to a unified whole.
-
Absolutely. Many landscapes are designed to be built over time. A landscape master plan allows improvements to be completed in manageable phases while maintaining a cohesive overall vision. Whether the next phase begins in six months or several years, we're available to help guide the process and ensure each improvement complements the original design.
-
Yes. We provide complete landscape design-build services, allowing us to remain involved from the earliest design ideas through construction and installation. When a project requires specialized expertise, we also work alongside trusted contractors and other professionals.
-
Wherever we can. We lean native by default (natives anchor most of our plantings). We bring in carefully selected, well-adapted plants only where a native isn't the right fit for a project's goals, maintenance expectations, or growing conditions.
-
Every property is unique, so we don't believe in one-size-fits-all pricing. Project costs depend on size, materials, plant selections, site conditions, and construction complexity. During our discovery process, we'll discuss your goals and budget so we can recommend an approach that's appropriate for your property.
-
The earlier, the better. Involving us early allows landscape design to be coordinated with grading, drainage, utilities, architecture, and other site improvements, often resulting in a more cohesive and efficient project. Planning early also provides greater flexibility for design, procurement, and construction scheduling.
-
Absolutely. Landscapes continue to mature long after installation. Whether you're adding a new garden, expanding an outdoor space, or looking for ongoing horticultural care and guidance, we're happy to continue working with you as your landscape evolves.
-
Absolutely. We regularly collaborate with architects, builders, engineers, pool contractors, and other professionals to help integrate the landscape with the larger project. Involving us early allows grading, drainage, circulation, utilities, outdoor spaces, and planting to be considered alongside the architecture and construction.
